Sydney's Birthplace Walk is an enhanced podcast narrated by Heritage Engineer, Michael Clarke. Come with him on a two and half hour journey to discover the heritage buildings and structures that make the Rocks a treasure trove rich in engineering history. Who were the key people that designed and constructed early Sydney? Why did they call it Circular Quay? How was the Sydney Harbour Bridge constructed? Why are there fortifications under the Harbour Bridge? Discover the answer to these questions and more.

The content was designed for iPods with colour screens since it contains archival images and maps.

The tour was developed by the AudioNomad Research group, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
