Journey through the night is an experiment with non-linear narrative in image and sound.  We hope it takes you on a haunting journey through the night, any night, a future night ... in the City.

It was a pleasure working within the restriction of using only images uploaded to the City Nights project, by unrelated contributors, and marrying them with the sounds we designed for the radio broadcast.

Stills are becoming particularly attractive to radio makers who find they augment sound - and visa versa - without the distraction factor of the moving image.  However the slideshow with sound is a new form for us at Radio National, and we're still playing with it - what a treat.
