Video: A Song About Barrow
Ecolocated residency program hosted by Folly, held a workshop session in DOX museum, Barrow-in-Furness. In this program, we met several children from Drop Zone, a youth development program of the city. We asked them to give a describe their city - influenced by the maritime cultural background - and their daily life, living in the city itself. Coulton Riglar, one of the boys from Drop Zone, wrote a lyric expressing on what he think about Barrow-inFurness. In our visit to Drop Zone HQ, Coulton try to perform by singing the lyrics that he wrote. Here is the full lyrics:
Barrow Town is how it sounds,
Sum nice places but ya need ta luk around.
DZ forum nd the town hall we're nt a big place, we're not at al.
But DZ is where ya wanna be,
People round the world no dat coz we wer on TV.
Rob the raver giv us 28 grand,

Nd we got loads to do,
