Production Project I
Lecturers: David Carlin and Kyla Brettle
PP1 is a third year media production course that explores contemporary issues faced within real-world professional media practices.
In PP1 the boundaries between radio, screen and online production are opened up, and we explore how media production projects may be conceived, produced and distributed within the ’convergent’ or ’transmedia’ environment of twenty-first century media production.
In 2009 students produce a project to be uploaded to Gene Pool that examines the theme of evolution and explores the theory and direction of digital media.
