A bit about me…

We are stickylabel which produces the sound works of Geoffrey Datson;
spoken word poetry, instrumental music and song.

Geoffrey Datson began his music career in the usual way, in bands in the seventies and early eighties (Surf Side Six, Samurai Trash, Apocalypstik), with a couple of hit singles to his credit.

His music draws on influences from folk music, classical masters and ethnic sources, and combining this with his love of rock and the irreverence of punk, constructs sweeping aural landscapes. Datson is an original new voice among Australian electronic composers.

Annette Hughes is a writer. Her first book Art Life Chooks, is published by Harper Collins Fourth Estate in 2008. She was once a literary agent, a small publisher, an art dealer, but now she speaks to chickens.
