Text: The wonder of beethoven

Just a quick note. I'm going through all the Beethoven that I have at the moment, particularly the piano concertos. Such transient beauty of undefinable qualities, the depth they have, pure harmonic flow and construction that nearly defies the ability of ones imagination to comprehend. I guess that is why they are so important in the musical lexicon.

Listening to them makes meaning out of your dull life, amplifies what you have just read or just seen or even just said. I think of the moon at night, drifting stars and the ever slow passing of time so easily destroyed by the white noise that is our world of hustle, bustle and seemingly useless technology

I could not live without this music.
