Artist Statement
It is issues of humanisation that attract me to the world of art. That is the relationship between a human being, history and the land. Simply, as an artist, I attempt on the canvas to place rough a texture of human life. Illustrating not a smooth journey but rather one that is eventful, complete with activities and creativities. To describe these relationships, I have adopted symbols from ancient civilisation and tradition, as well as using colours associated with this land.
