Tune into Radio National's Background Briefing after the news at 9am Hindsight at 2pm on Sun Feb 14th to get more of the back story.
We want your take on the song and the story for ABC Radio National 'Waltzing Matilda': respond to it, re-version the song or recreate the story—make a mashup, or give us your personal version of what really happened, a history hypothetical. No restrictions, except that entries should refer somewhere, in some way to Matilda. All media welcome: music, sound, video, text. There's no limit on length, but entries might be edited by the ABC (Michelle Rayner, Hindsight) in consultation with the creator. The best entries will be broadcast on your local ABC and ABC online.
