Blog: Hook up with Sea Things in Cairns or Thursday Island!
Calling any Poolie poets living in or near Cairns or Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. Producer of Radio National's 360 program, Gretchen Miller, will be sailing from Cairns to Thursday Island with the cargo of poems and would love to meet local Pool members who have contributed poems to Sea Things.
The boat is due to depart Cairns around 1.30pm on 13 November and will be in Thursday Island on 15 and 16 November.
As the sea can be wild and the weather unpredictable, check The Red Room Company for updated departure and arrival information, and to get instructions if you'd like to deliver your poems in person.
