Audio: The Happiest Kind of Custard
This is yet another remix of John Jacob's Custard bubbles, and a sister piece to my earlier remix of the same source material.
It isn't really a sister piece. The connections between any two things I produce are unintentional and ethereal - the product of my psychotic obsession with a particular theme or idea, rather than a deliberate creative choice. Here, that theme is custard. The meaning behind these two audio vistas (this, the lighter, and Serenade of Slime, the darker) is obvious. I guess I am saying that eating custard can be good... or bad?
The other commonality between the two is my obsession with a particular contraption in AudioMulch - a comb filter that can make almost anything (yes, even custard!) sound like a guitar. I am but a man! How can I resist the temptations of such a thing!
