Audio: Communing with science fiction writers

I met Kate Eltham at the Melbourne Writers Festival on Saturday 23rd August at the Australian Writers’ Marketplace launch of the guide.

Kate is the CEO of the Queensland Writers’ Centre. She’s in touch with many of the writers’ communities across the sunshine state.

Shlock-horror romances have a special place in her heart and she’s involved in the Aurealis awards as well.

Although we have an image of the solitary writer, she says making connections is crucial for freelancers in the industry.
