I love the part about the cat. My father owns a restaurant and we also have a cat, Thomas, who lives there. He roams the place and curls up on chairs in the cafe as he pleases. Our customers love him.

I love this piece - so off beat - it is the last thing you would expect when the topic is City Nights. I notice they are all blokes you interview - maybe it's too late for females. So great to hear people talking about why they like to look at and read the books.
