Hi Rose,
You have a really natural reading voice - very expressive and engaged, charming and comfortable. Your child is lucky! There are many (many) writers who don't have this rare gift and manage to make their beautiful words dull and flat, or worse, sing song, when they read. So, nice one.
My only suggestion would be to slow down a little! Enjoy each word. Often when we read we speed up (performance anxiety) so you need to allow for that.
cheers
Gretchen
Thanks Gretchen, this is the first time I've done any voice recording so I very much appreciate your feedback. My husband helped me record the story late at night with our over excited 3 year old wanting to "help". Fatigue and frustration levels required that we get it done pronto! I guess it shows. Next time I'll pace it a little.
Bye for now,
Rose
