Do you love music? We do! You know what else we love…the internet! With the two becoming inherently intertwined and increasingly more accessible, it means we have access to the biggest library of songs in the world, and with current technological advancements in music production, we have the ability to deconstruct and recreate them!

With this in mind we are creating a website that will both trace back the roots of a song and also invite viewers to remix the track and send it to us to display on the site.     Hi remix-it,

    What a great project...the evolution of a song track. Looking forward to seeing and hearing what people come up with in the Gene Pool, in remixing the elements you've uploaded here. Perhaps you could do your own remix of the elements to inspire others?

    Hey, can you also join the Gene Pool Group here at Pool. Groups are a brand new function and the Pool team are in the process of encouraging people to label the pieces they upload to Gene Pool in two ways (primarily to select the Gene Pool group when you get to Groups in the upload form; and, if you like, to also tag your work as Gene Pool. )
