Into the Night is an experimental sound adventure which explores the life of Mandy, a diagnosed insomniac who is forced to witness the world as it exists in the soft illumination of the morning.

Insomnia is a prevalent condition amongst a generation of over-worked, over-stressed people. Too often is the resolve of stress and deadline taking hold and throwing people into the grip of insomnia; leaving the scientific community with no shortage of subjects to study and theorise over. But outside of the confusing world of science, diagnosis and medical jargon, there exists the actual insomniac. What is it like to suffer the torment that is sleep deprivation? How does it change you?

Into the Night examines the peculiar relationship between insomnia and sound, and in doing so, seeks to give this haunting condition a human face.
