Fans sing “We are the Conquerors” a reworking of a Christian hymn originally referring to Jesus as the conqueror but now the soccer team and its fans assume that redemptive role. We hear beautiful rolling canonical harmonies, crowd stamping on the metal frame of the stadium and joyous break-out whistling.
