Took a ferry across the Mersey (catchy huh!) and was saddened to see that Pier Head, once the longest floating structure in the world had been replaced by some really ugly concrete pontoons. Out to New Brighton to sample amongst the seaweed, chilling winds and suicidal jetskiiers.
