Audio: My Street: Gyro Close

This was an assessment piece for my uni course... It was put together quickly when my initial story fell through, but I worked with what I had. It's about my residential street in the country and whilst it's not necessarily action-packed or exciting, it's designed to be an audio tour of a piece of the country that's close to nature. Enjoy!

    You've got that laid back

You've got that laid back country feel happening beautifully in this piece, the pace and relaxed commentary certainly suited the location. Lovely recordings of birds too. I wanted more description of what you were seeing and also some memories or stories of your time living in the street. The sound of the rain on a tin roof is one of my favourite sounds also, when I lived in a dry climate for 2 years it's the one sound of my hometown that I missed the most.
