This writing is full of the variety and smell of an Austalian city night (Melbourne I'm guessing?) I love the image of the couple dancing on and past all the humanity in its great diversity and chaos. It's lot down by the read being a bit too fast and a bit hard to hear though. The mix could have the voice a bit more present. Keep writing.
I'd like to hear a version of this without the background music, I don't think it adds anything significant to the work and sometimes makes it a bit hard to hear the words which are great!
Thanks for sharing it on Pool Ciaran & Scott

This is such a tender poem... and I really like the delivery - your voice is natural and rhythmic but not sing song ...
The music gives that sense of how round and round it goes - and not every drunk is mad and violent, some are mad and in love, and there but for the grace of ? go we.
Thanks Ciaran and Scott... it's quite gorgeous!

PS - what about posting the text with the audio, or would that defeat the point? I'll definitely revisit to listen again anyway...
