Hi Carmel, Keep telling your stories and finding places for people to listen to them. It's very difficult to ignore such a strong and courageous voice.

Hi Carmel,
Your story is really inspiring and I wanted to let you know about a Pool project I'm setting up which is all to do with writing and reading. It's called Letter Vox, ABC Radio National's Book Show Pool project. I'm asking people to record audio about all things to do with words and writing and what it means to them. It would be a chance to tell us more about your West End reading, writing and computer group. So, if ever you want to tell more stories about reading and writing with your group, let me know and we can talk about how you could contribute...it doesn't have to be as a produced radio feature, people in the group could record onto their mobile phones (if their phones are newer than mine that is) or their mp3 player.
Cheers,
Sarah

A very strong story which I could relate too. Words...they can be hard things huh? Especially if you find it hard to read and write them. Dont feel alone though, as I have been there too. Through my child hood I went through hell as I had an extreamly bad case of Dyslexia, but in those days teachers did not know how to treat it....memories which will haunt me for life, but stories like yours is what brings people hope and motivates them to get through things. Keep telling your stories.
