Audio: Free of Sin
Performed by Garton with Benguela, Cape Town, July 31 2009. From TONG TANA (Penan for Into The Forest).
I'd actually written Free of Sin for Black Harlequin, a one person freak show I was performing through the very early 90s in Brisbane, Northern NSW and briefly in Melbourne before hanging up me pointy hats and boxing all me face paints and masks.

Thanks Jonathon... yes, the still was taken during a performance of this piece in Cape Town. The cups have small microphones embedded. Some are used as mutes, others to amplify and corrode...

Hello agarton,
I really like this piece that you have shared with us here. Is the image you have used an image of you performing?
